About Third Thursdays

Third Thursdays provides adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities the chance to enjoy engaging, inclusive social outings. On the third Thursday of each month, participants gather in person for an evening of fun. Food, drinks, door prizes, and live music are provided FREE of charge.

The organizers of the monthly event all have special needs and run Third Thursdays with as little assistance from staff as possible.

This program works to also help reduce bullying of individuals with special needs by utilizing our anti-bullying curriculum and providing an empowering, inclusive space where participants can gain support, a sense of belonging, build confidence, self-esteem, and develop advocacy skills.

Third Thursdays on Zoom
Due to COVID-19 and the recommendation of social distancing, we have expanded our Third Thursdays to operate not only in person but also virtually via Zoom. This allows for more individuals living in the community, and in surrounding areas, to participate with us in this night of fun!
